Making a Difference
Realizing our collective future is in our own hands and taking pride in reaching out, at Womack Electric Supply, we believe in thinking globally and acting locally.
Our community outreach programs are specifically designed to allow us to work as partners with our customers to make a positive impact on our communities tomorrow.
See below for more information about our community outreach programs…
Paid Volunteer Time for Employees
Womack Electric Supply and Crescent Electric Supply recognizes it is our responsibility as a good corporate citizen to help enrich our surrounding communities. We encourage our employees to become involved in their
communities, lending voluntary support to programs that positively impact the quality of life within these communities.
Full-time employees are able to take up to 8 hours of paid volunteer time per year for serving as volunteers at qualifying, eligible nonprofit organizations.
Food for Families
The Food for Families food drive is held annually in July. Each Womack Electric Supply branch serves as a drop off location for non-perishable food donations. All customers, along with the local community, are encouraged to support the drive by donating non-perishable and canned food items including beans, vegetables, meats, soup, fruit and much more.
We encourage any donations to help us support local food pantries and families.
Past Community Outreach Programs
Give a Kid a Bike (2010-2020)
The Give a Kid a Bike outreach campaign was held annually from mid-October to mid-December. Each Womack Electric Supply branch served as a drop off location for purchased bicycles or monetary donations. All monetary donations were used to purchase as many bikes as possible.
Donated bikes were delivered to charitable organizations for distribution to kids in local communities, putting a smile on many children’s faces during the holiday season.
