Conflict Minerals Statement

The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and related U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rules require certain companies to disclose the extent to which the products they manufacture or contract to manufacture contain commonly referenced conflict minerals (Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, and Gold, also known as 3TG) sourced from mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries.

While Womack Electric & Supply Co. Inc. is not subject to SEC reporting, we fully support compliance with this legislation and our position is to avoid the use of conflict minerals.

Womack Electric & Supply Co. Inc. understands the importance of this issue to its customers and is committed to supply chain initiatives that work towards a conflict free supply chain. We encourage all of our suppliers to likewise support these efforts and make information on the origin of their product components easily accessible.

Womack Electric & Supply Co. Inc. realizes some of our customers have their own reporting obligations under the conflict mineral rules. While we cannot certify the country of origin in all of the products we sell, we are working with our key suppliers to ensure compliance with legislation and avoid use of conflict minerals.
