Josh Foust named as Womack Security Solutions Business Development Manager
Womack Electric Supply is pleased to announce that Josh Foust has been named as Business Development Manager for Womack Electric Supply’s Security Solutions Division. Josh succeeds Stephen Helton in this role, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
Josh has been with Womack Electric since 2018, coming from a background in commercial construction, and has successfully managed his role as Business Development Manager in our Tool Sales & Service Division. Josh will maintain oversight of business development for this division in addition to his new responsibilities within our Security Solutions Division. We are confident that Josh will take on his new responsibilities with the same enthusiasm and professionalism that he has always shown to Womack’s valued customers.

Commodity Reports & Insights
Market Watch provides informational data and graphs showing the 30 day trend in spot prices of copper, aluminum and zinc base metals. These base metals are primary influencers for wire and conduit marketplace price fluctuations.
Vendor Product Line Notifications
Market Watch provides a listing (by date of notification) of vendor product line notifications. The listing provides a brief overview and shows the effective dates of notified product line changes, including price increases.
Electrical Circuit Integrity Systems for Your Projects
Fire-Resistive Rated Systems & Capabilities
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has fire resistive rating requirements for a 2-hour fire rating on all emergency life safety power feeds for commercial applications and a 1 or 2-hour fire rating on all emergency life safety power feeds for travel infrastructure. Roadway tunnels (NFPA 502) require a 2-hour rating while Transit (NFPA 130) require a 1-hour rating. These requirements are set forth in the NEC. The purpose is to provide for survivability of critical circuits to ensure continued operation during a specified time under fire conditions.
