Ideal National Championship Qualifications and Finals

The 2022 Finals are in Tampa, Florida – Nov. 4-6.

To make it to Tampa, you must qualify first. Qualifying Events are held in every U.S. state and Canadian region. Each event is a test of skill and workmanship to complete a task using IDEAL Tools. Events are open to professionals and apprentices. The best apprentice and professional score in each state and Canadian region advance to the IDEAL National Championship Finals.

The winners will then go head-to-head in Tampa, Florida with all new challenges and over $600,000 in cash and prizes on the line.

Womack Electric – Wilmington is hosting a qualifying event on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Commodity Reports & Insights

Market Watch provides informational data and graphs showing the 30 day trend in spot prices of copper, aluminum and zinc base metals. These base metals are primary influencers for wire and conduit marketplace price fluctuations. 

Vendor Product Line Notifications

Market Watch provides a listing (by date of notification) of vendor product line notifications.  The listing provides a brief overview and shows the effective dates of notified product line changes, including price increases. 

We continue to have bi-monthly virtual meeting with key vendors so we can have a better understanding of the challenges they face and share with them our needs and concerns and those of our customer partners. 

Cooperative Contracts for Education

Womack Electric is a contracted distributor with E&I Cooperative Services, a non-profit purchasing cooperative that services the needs of education. 

Through our partnership with E&I, Womack Electric leverages your facilities collective purchasing power to lower costs across your organization, offering top of the line product offering and solutions at a discounted rate via E&I’s competitively solicited contract with IM Supply.

The Womack Way Award

Lisa Dwyer and Nigel Baker are the latest recipients of the Womack Way Employee Award.

The quarterly award is bestowed upon employees that have best demonstrated what “The Womack Way” is about. What does that entail … it’s “What Customer Service is About!” … attentiveness to our customers and their needs, clear communication skills, willingness to learn (new products, new skills), a positive attitude, time management skills, and being a team player.

Each quarter, the employees that are chosen will earn a $100 gift card and Womack Way trophy.
